Corporate Culture

Corporate culture is considered a significant source of value in companies, as what distinguishes them among their interest groups. Employees are always at the base of this culture.

Telefónica: reference company to work

At Telefónica, over 291,000 professionals are one of the great leverages for creating a culture that enables us to build sustainable relations with clients, employees, shareholders and investors, communities and strategic partners.

This new corporate culture is part of Telefónica’s strategic programme, bravo!+, which is implemented in all the countries where we operate. In order to achieve a more agile organisation, with the speed of decision and response demanded by a changing world that is more and more digital, we need motivated and committed professionals.

Hence the importance of the Climate and Commitment Index, which gets better every year and is now at 76%. In 2011, Telefónica was selected as one of the 25 best global companies to work at by the Great Place to Work Institute and was the only telecommunications operator in the global ranking.

For a multinational present in 25 countries, diversity is another key element to satisfying the expectations of our customers, who are equally diverse: 53.9% of our professionals are women, and we have almost 1,600 disabled employees.
